Part- olio provides that the control of honey intended for export shall l-o vested in a hoard to ho known as \lie Export Control Board. The hoard is to consist of three members, one nominated bv the Government and the remaining two to be elected by occupiers oi apiaries, Ministered under the A; iarics A< t, who exported honey during the previous three years. The Export Control Board will have authority to make such arrangements as it thinks neee-sarv for (a), the evading, packing, handling, end storage of honey; (h) the orpiipmcnt ot sneli honey on sneh terms and in such conditions as it thinks fit: (<■). the display of such honey at Joeal exhihitis or elsewhere; (d). the sa'e and disposal of sneli lionev on sneh terms as it tliinhs advisable; (ot the iirsmanee against loss of any such honey either in New Zealand or in transit from New Zealand, and until disposed of; (I), generally all sneli matter-, as are necessary for the due discharge of its functions in tile handling, distributing, and dispo-ing of lionev. I lie board v. ill have full antboiity to give security over any lionev intended for export for purpose of seeming advances made to the board or to tae owner at tbe replies! of the board. Part two provides that, alter the dale, to be fixed by tbe Governor-Gen-eral in council. there shall be payable by v. ay of a levy oil all lionev intended for export, such charges as may from time to time be prescribed by the regulations under this Act. The conference resolved that the proposals of the committee he forwarded to tbe Minister for Agriculture urging him to have a Bill prepared ami ba-ed thereon for presentation to the Parliament during the coming session.
