DCNKDIN. June fb A- a result ol an ittfray among tho coloured seamen on the City of Birmingham. in which knive- were drawn John Joseph, a Sing.dose, was’ charged this morning with as-aulting Ali Snide, boson, and Hah Aiuat. the bosun's mate. It was stated that after a .struggle between the latter and Joseph, accused caught his adversary by the throat and drew a knife. Captain MeKelt/.ie asked that the accused by detained at Dunedin till the Company’- next boat arrived. He was remanded in custody for a week, the Magistrate remarking, however, that the evidence did not warrant a ronvicitoq for ftsstutH,
