Alexander Allison appeared on remand at the Police Court this morning on a charge of arson on May 17. by wilfully sol ting fire lo two slacks of oaten sheaves, valued at £99. the property of William John .bud. Kvidciice was given for the prosecution showing that ill feeling existed he tween accused and Paul, and accused had told a constable previously that he would rather burn the stacks than let Paul get them. At the time of the fire, he was under the influence o' Ibjiier. Allison reserved his defence and was committed for trial at the Supreme Court, bail being allowed a! £2OO. and two sureties of £IOO. or one of £2OO.
