THK UNEMPLOYMENT VOTE.
LONDON', May 29. Tin* Government threatens to treat the motion on their unemployment policy as a vote of censure, and their defeat will involve their resignation, ltepeated conferences between Liberal and Labour whips resulted in an arrangement whereby Mr MacDonald takes charge of the debate instead of Mr Shaw, and makes a conciliatory speech attaclding tiro Conservatives, and pointing out that Labour had not had time to develop their schemes. Government were confident of sullicient Liberal support to win a victory. Meanwhile new complications have occurred. Clvde.side Labourites are disgusted with the Cabinet not producing work schemes, and may not vote unless the Government promises to expedite. CONSKHVATIVK DiOFKAT. LONDON*.
