Tr, young brothels named Cogo. who have keen awaiting trial for many months, were indicted for murdering their Aunt. Carolina Coco and a housemaid named Kita Cordon. It was aliened that the accused. who are students, were short of money and believed they would benefit under the will of their wealthy aunt. They broke into the house and strangled her and Borden, and propped the corpses on chairs and bedecked them with their aunt’s jewels. A servant girl made a tragic discovery : informed the police and their arrest followed. The brothers made several contradictory statements, one accusb the servant of being an accomplice. The servant, who has been the principal witness, is unable to testify. lia\ - ing lost reason, owing to her terrifying expereinces.
