WEST COAST RUGBY UNION. At a meeting of the Committee ol the West Coast Rugby Union held last night at Groymouth, a letter was received from tlie Canterbury Union asking the Coast to play a match at Christchurch tills season.— It was resolved to hold same over in the meantime, and reply that it was intended, if possible, to make the trip later In the year. A letter was received from the Inangahita Sub Union requesting a ganto with Grey reps, ami it was derided to reply that Cray would phlv them n* Rccfton on June 21 or 28, whichever dale was suitable to them. A letter was received from Duller Union requesting Coast to forego (heir right of challenge for the Seddon Shield, and ii was resolved In write and inform them that this Union had already made applications to the Mottieka Union for a suitable date for a match.
An application from Fred lianrmh for reinstatement to the Rughv code, was received and it Wits decided to favourably rerommend same to the N.Z. Union.
'Two players in tin- tilth grade match lasi Saturday were reported for misbehaviour. by tin* role roe, and it was decided to write and reprimand one. and bring tin* oilier before the Union next meeting night for an explanation.
Mr T. Mclntosh handed in his rosipnalinu as a member of the West Coast Selection Committee, which wax received with regret. It was decided to leave the appointment of a successor until next meeting.
