CLEVER ROBBERY.
SYDNEY. May 20. . By a smart ruse, the Postal Department was robbed of eight hundred liu ,r . Men apparently acquainted with the routine, obtained pay cheques at the Engineer’s Department, and allegedly forged the signature of the cashier, and got it countersigned by another official, without arousing any suspicion. Then they cashed it and disappeared. They are untraeed.
