The church was beautifully ,let orated I r the occasion. The bride. tho church oil the arm of her uncle. .Mr Smith, looked charming in a wodgewond blue (ostiime. heavily embroidered, and a henna and gold hat. -She iil-'ti carried a lovely bouquet. the gill of a friend. She was attended by her sister. Miss Amy Johnston, who wore a pretty I rock ol naw blue crepe de chine and georgoette and a navy blue and white hat with ospreys. She also carried a bouquet of roses and maidenhair fern. Mv Williamson was best man. Ihe bride s gift to the bridegroom was a spW watch; the bridegroom’- I ', gill l" tbc bride was a beautiful fur coat, and to the bridesmaid a gold wristlet wateli. Mr and Mrs U. Rugg left for the North Island on their wedding lour. The bride's travelling costume was of in.de figured inaroeain. with hat to match.

CASTLE—IJND. At Cobdon on Wednesday afternoon the wedding took niaee of Frances, only daughter of Mr and Mrs C'. Lind, of Fox Street. Cobdon, to William Laney Castle, of the staff of the National Rank. Hoefton. only sou of Mr and Mrs 11. Castle, of Reofton. The ceremony took niaee at the residence of the bride's parents. Archdeacon Carr officiating. The bride, who wai given away by her mother, wore a powder blue marocain frock, with silver grey hat and shoos am! stockings to match. She carried a bouquet ol pink-and white chrysanthemums. Mr Lloytl Lind attended as best man. Mr ami Mrs Castle left bv ear on a short honeymoon, the bride wearing a wine frock, smart mole coat and hat to match. They will reside in Reofton.
