NEW YORK, May 20 The Times’s Washington correspondent says:—M. Hnnihura, Imperial Minister, commenting on the Tokio dispatches, stating lie would be permitted to resign, declared he had never indicated a desire to resign, despite the exclusion crisis, adding that the cable advices were the first intimation that the Foreign Office was considering the possibility of his resignation. Diplomatic circles here believe M. Hnnihara will continue to represent his Government and regard him as the best-versed diplomat in connection with the Japanese affairs in the United States.
