Tit the Commons .Mr Hartshorn replying to a question, said he was still unable to state the policy of the Government in respect to the development of wireless telegraphy in Britain, hut there would he no avoidable delay ill arriving at a decision. The delay was partly due to negotiations with Marconi's in regard to an Empire wiie* less chain ami partly owing to communications with the Dominions, being thus far incomplete.

Replying as to the supplementary estimates, Mr Shaw said that members opposite would have a better opportunity of scalping him to-morrow, when he would show a phenomenal decrease in unemployment, directly due to the Government’s policy.
