Fear as a subject for comedy lias boon made the central idea of a delightful photoplay ‘‘His Hack Against the Wall.” The picture with Raymond Hatton as the coward-hem, heads the hill at the Princess Theatre to-night, and tells of the'romance of a tailor's assistant who went out West and keen me a veritable terror. This is Hatton's first leading role for Guldwvn and his many admirers will he more then elated at the remarkable performance given by this astonishingly versatile actor. Once he puts on his makeup. the man disappears in the character he portrays. That is the ultimate test of great acting. The usual .Monday night good supporting programme will also la* shown, including a screaming two-reel comedy, and last, but not least, the popular serial “The Social Buccaneer.”
On Wednesday next patrons will be pleased to know that Shirley .Mason v.ill ho seen in a big Fox special entitled “I.ove Bound.” On Thursday another big Special First National “The Inferior Sex" starring Milton Sills. Mary Aldcu and Mildred Harris Chaplin will be shown.

The plan works perfectly, and the Rajah, clasping his beloved wife in his arms, is freed from the malady that has clouded his mind.
