NEW SPANISH COfNS. MADRID, March 7, For many roars Spain lias had the largest silver and copper coins in the world, and they cii ciliated so freely as to make one’s pockets uncomfortably bulky. Tt has now been decided to substitute nickel coins for the Jd., Id., and 3d pieces. It is I t years since the Spanish Mint made coins. New machinery has been installed and special workmen hare been engaced to make new coins.
