A large number of entries have been received for the Chrysanthemum Show, the entries thi.x year being a record one totalling in all sections alxiut 300. Air Nairn, of Christchurch is forwarding by to-day’s train an exhibit of cut blooms which no doubt "ill Ik* a source of attraction coming front such well known growers. The Committee last night arranged all the staging for the exhibits aittf everything will he in readiness to receive exhibits this evening and tomorrow. Given fine weather it should prove to he the attraction, for all those who are interested. in the various sections and as the admission is only one shilling the Show is within the roach of all.
