AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CAIILE ASSOCIATION soviet train wrecked. MOSCOW. May 10. Political foul play is alleged in connection with the derailment of a new train, dedicated to Lenin whose portrait adorned the locomotive, in the neighbourhood of Odessa on its maiden run from Moscow. Many were killed and injured and the train was smashed. The rails apparently had been torn up. It is officially admitted the disaster was deliberately engineered and it is believed aimed at the lives of certain members of the Soviet aboard the train. Their names are not stated and the total number of casualties is not given.
