On .Monday next u First National special, entitled ‘•Slander the Woman” and starring Dorothy Phillips and I.ewis Dayton will he presented. It is the story of a "ill whom the fiery tongues of scandal had seared and burned—the story of her fight to regain that fragile hut priceless possession—Reputation ! With its scenes laid in aristocratic halls and the open spaces of the "rent snow country, the drama moves with tremendous power and sordino emotions. Although comparatively unknown to film fans in this country, Lewis Dayton, who is playing opposite Dorothy l’hillips in •‘Slander the Woman," produced and diiected h.v Allen lloluh ar, is a star m his own right in England.
