Tn the House of Commons. Mr Bustoil announced that 2000 eases of foot and mouth disease have been reported since August. Thirty-nine Kngljsh countries are affected, while eleven Scottish and two Welsh are also a flee, toil, resulting in the slaughter of lO.'i. IIJB cattle. .12,900 sheep and 17.09!! The Compensation payable is estimated at £.‘5.2:57.000.
