DAUNTLESS AT BLUFF.
INVERCARGILL. May 5. H.AI.S. Dauntless arrived'al Bluff this afternoon, and the officers and men were accorded a most enthusiastic reception. Official calls occupied the remainder of the afternoon, anil this evening a social function was held at Bluff. The Dauntless remains till Thursday, and a comprehensive programme of entertainment has been drawn up. .MEN’S VISIT TO AIASTKRTOX. AIASTERTOX, Alav 5. A drive round tlie countryside occupied tbe early afternoon, and later the AYairarapa Soccer representatives pi a veil the Hood team at the Bark Oval, the Navy men being defeated by 2 to nil. The company repaired to the. .Municipal HalL for tea, and entrained at dark for Wellington.
