The story is one that carries a potent message to the women of our modern society. The central character is a young woman on tile threshold of life who lis teds to the love-making of one George Hartford a man of the world who loves all women
dike. Then there stalks the grim tragedy into the life of the woman who has loved not wisely but too well. Fearlessly the play throws the light of truth on a problem that lias long perturbed a convention governed society - the story of the woman who has made one irrevocable mistake. The leading ro!o is played by Fay Compton the talented English Star who is supported by a big cast. The picture has been released in New Zealand tinder the special recommendation of the censor that it shall he shown preferably to adult audiences.
