In tin* Commons Mr Thomas <(oldiiial Secretary) announced that as no settlement by agreement was possible, the hotinary between the North ot Ireland and the- rest of Ireland must be determined in an ’idam-" with Vi'licb 12 of tlie Treaty, providing for the establishment of a Boundary Commission.
