The Sculling Championship of Australia was won by Barton (Victoria). HANNAN V. AIrDKVITT. DA. ROA VI LIE, April 28. AlcDevitt. the Australian sculler, accompanied by Ceuriti. his trainer, have arrived at Dargaville, and are training daily on the Wit iron River, in preparation for the Australian Championship, to he rowed here ;;L the end of .May or early in June. Both soldiers are particularly pleased- with the river and slate there is no better championship course in Australasia.
