WEST COAST RUGBY UNTON

At a meeting of the above at Grey month last evening.

Confirmation was received from the New Zealand Union of the reinstatement to Rugby of J. McCabe.

A letter v,;:s received from tlio New Zealand Union in reference to a trial match to be held at Wellington on May 21st,

It. was resolved to write and suggest in view of tlie West Coast playing Bailor on the 17th. May. the Const representatives go forward from here on Monday morning via Nelson, joining with ti’.e Bnller men instead of going via Christchurch. It was resolved to advise Marlborough that the Union had decided to select red and white jerseys for* the W est Coast and Buller v. Golden Bay, Nelson and Marlborough match on May 21. A letter was received from the Now Zealand Union advising that no application from an admitted or a reinstated or a readmitted player who has reverted to the League code will be entertained. It was decided to favourably recommend the following for re-admission to the Rugby code:— J. M. Young, Ernest and Harold Holmes. It was decided to define the southern boundary as Kapiton Creek. The Westland Sub-Union wrote appointing Mr D. Howell as the representative on the West Coast Selection Committee. Mr A. A. Adams was appointed a vice-President, vice Mr T. O'Bonnell, resigned.
