A Runanga motor lorry w ith a trailer carrying a ton of tish from Lyttelton to Christchurch attempted to pass a five neater ear on the hill into Sunnier. Hie ear was overturned and crushed against the hnhk. while the lorry fell into the gully, turning half a dozen somervaults. The driver of the lorry, J. Dalziel. emerged from the 'wreck unhurt. but Air and Airs Torrence, and Ah- 'ind Airs Elliott who wore an the *. u - were conveyed to the hospital. All were discharged except Torrence, who was pinned under the ear and severely injured. The fish was gathered up and sent on to the city.
