CANTERBURY EDUCATION BOARD.
The Board met at Christchurch on Wednesday. There were present: — Messrs H. .1. BigneH (chairman). W. A. Banks, J". Alaze, G. W. Armitage, IV. M. Windsor, .1. G. Gow. E. H. Andrews, C. S Thompson, A. J’evorill. T. Hughes and W. I*. Spencer. APPOINTMENTS AND RESIGNATIONS.
Appointments made included:—Grey mouth, Air (). W. Williams; Haunter Mr J. F. Wilson.
Reisgnations received and accepted included:—Arthur’s Pass, Air .1. E. Wilson; Tavlorville, Air J. A. M’Kenzie.
The report of the Building (’oniinit tee was received and adopted. It was stated that the Board's expenditure in connection with the visit of the fleet- would he confined to entertainment of the children.
