Physical Cci.tuhe. Air H. E. Longworth, Chief School Physical Instructor, states that reports leaching him show that there are still teachers who do not consider the subject of physical instruction of sufficient importance to give it that regularity of practice required’ by regulation. He appeals to teachers to give the subject its full due, on account of the great benefit accruing thereby to the children. He further states that competent authorities in every country where it is a part of the educational system confirm the opinion that the child benefits mentally, physically, and spiritually.
