Bates, Government meteorologist, forwarded the Billowing forecast at nocn to-day a ‘•The indications arc for moderate southerly breezes prevailing. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather and misty at times. The night will probably be very cold. Tbe barometer has a rising tendency. Sens moderato to swell, tides poor.”
