Tho AYostland Sub-Union opens the season’s competitions to-morrow afteinoon, when the various grades play their opening matches. The season promises,tp he an- interesting one. The various.Chibs! report a. number ol new players have joined their ranks, ami much interest; is being, shown as to the added strength, so that the opening games will have ail added interest. The warm weather experienced of late has prevented much training, so-that there will probably be r.n absence of form at the start, but Club mcmbois should remember that, the sooner- they- arc in form, the sooner will their winning list be augmented. On Cass Square theio are tour games set down, two at 1.30 p.m.. and two at 3 p.in. Each gallic should have its followers, anil there will probably he a very satisfactory attendance to witness the gam:s.
