' The steel plant and works at l.ithgow Ironworks are idle, as the result of the dismissal of two men for refusing extra work on the furnaces on Sunday, the Union contending that Sunday work is a violation of the award. The matter of Sunday overtime has been in dispute for some time, and as the full strength of the Union is behind the strikers, the trouble threatens to render the whole works idle.
