IUSTKALIAN AND N.Z. CA'<LE ASSOCIATION. IRISH GOVERNMENT AND KING’S NAME. —■ - - LONDON, April 0. The Free State Government’s narrow majority of thirty-five to twentynine on the question of retaining the King’s name in the American liquor treaty which was submitted for ’ its ratification, is interpreted* as an indication of the party under the leadership of Mr McGrath to eliminate the King’s name from Irish State documents and proclamations. It is pointed out that the King is not toasted at public banquets and the Natiowil Anthem is not played. The GovernorGeneral’s name replaces that of till! King's wherever possible.
