The police now believe that tho murder of Air Hall, manager of the : Borden sub-branch of Lloyd’s Bank who was found with a bullet in bis head, was carried out by experts, who arrived in a motor car, after bank hours. It is believed that Hall unlocked the doors and admitted them, and then returned behind tbe counter. Apparently one of the visitors talked business with Hall till the other suddenly whipped out a revolver and fired three shots, and killed Hall as he stood, counting Treasury notes. The murderers carefully lott those which "ere blood stained and locked tbe door as they went out. Hail’s ->Y ' loaded revolver was found untouched in the counter drawer. f Tbe Bank is offering live hundred sterling reward for information regarding the murderers. Hall and his wife both had piemonitions of the tragedy. His wife recalls that her husband, when leaving home on Thursday morning, returned find embraced her. Again, twice on Wednesday night, she dreamed that she was at her parents’ home and that overtone was weeping owing to some calamity. ** 7 An outstanding feature of the Borden crime is the secrecy with which it was carried out. Hull had been dead probably for two hours before it was discovered. The deceased was a man of striking physique and the thieves evidently took him by surprise. An armed sentry and patrols in tbe environs of Aldershot, saw nothing unusual, and they heard no shots.
