form a fitting background for this typically English romance, which is nr. entertainment we rarely have an op port-unity of witnessing. The story o' an Englishman who took the loss of a fortune philosophically is delightfully told amidst the most beautiful English .scenes Imaginable. How a man endeavoured to satisfy his longing for revenge because ho was thrashed as A hoy, is fascinatingly entwined with a delightful country romance, and a number of incidents which were founded on actual happenings. In this picture we see why it is that so many songs and poems have been written about Devon, for these scenes are incomparably beautiful and a delight to witness. A two-reel comedy “A Dead Cert” and a Topical Budget, and the serial “The Timber Queen” will conclude a. fine evening’s entertainment. .McLean's Orchestra will render the incidental music.
