The following resolution has been passed by headquarters of the K.S.A. upon tlio retirement of Sir E. Chapman from the presidency of the War Pensions’ Appeal Board:—New Zealand Returned Soldiers' Association expresses its deepest regret upon the retirement of Sir Frederick Chapman from the War Pension’s Appeal Board and upon the occasion which has necessitated his retirement the Association desires to express its view that the confidence of both Government and returned soldiers in the War Pensions Appeal Board, as an Imperial Board of authority is largely due to the fact that Sir Frederick Chapman accepted the appointment as first President of the Board.
