LONDON. Feb. 4. The inquest- on George At illiatn Cooper, pattern-maker, ol Brisliugton. Bristol, whose body was found buried iu the sitting-room o 1 his house, was conducted by Dr Samuel Craddock, who is 1)1. and has been coroner for the North Somerset district for 56 years. Rreviously he was a deputy coroner for 5 years. He used to cover the large area for which he was responsible iu a pony trap, but in later years has had to resort to trains and motor-cars. His tall spare figure is well known in the district. Although a little troubled by dealness. lie 'followed the evidence on Saturday with the closest attention, frequently interjecting a question on some vital point.
