CHRISTCHURCH R KSOT.T’TION. [by TELEGRAPH —PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH. April 2. At a largely attended meeting of the Korth Canterbury section ot the I*. and T. Officers Association, the following resolution was carried unanimously: •‘Confirming the principle that present salaries should ho raised to a pie-v.ai basis, rega.diog the purchasing vain-' and realising that all public servants will he effected and salaries governed by the decision- of the Railway Wages Board at present- in session, this meeting unanimously urges upon the Government the absolute necessity for the representation of that Association before the Roald and pledges itself to support the Executive Committee of the Association in any eflorts made to gain this undeniable right. -
