THE MUNICH TRIAL. [“Tun Times” Snnvtcn.] (Received this day at 8.50 a.m.) LONDON, March 30 The “Times" .Munich correspondent says that a sensation was caused in Munich hy the sudden departure for Italy of Von Kalir, Yon Lossow and Von' Scissler, the three principal witnesses in Ihe Hiller trial. It is reported that they have gone for health reasons, hut this is wholly disbelieved as only on Friday the State Prosecutor denied any intention of quitting the
country. It is possible, says the correspondent, that they consider Tuesday’s verdict mav have an unhealthy effect on their political future. Throughout the trial all accused strenuously declared that, thov were equally implicated but they were betrayed at the critical momeat, by companions. The Gross Deutshe Zeitung, belonging to Hitler and another extreme Nationalist, and the paper Deutsche Presse wore suppressed during the week for publishing violent articles tending to influence the verdict. Both appeared on the streets in the afternoon hut were seized by . the police
