LIVELINESS AT 100
LONDON, Feb. 5. At Easley (Co. Sligo) yesterday, Owen Connolly, of liallyineeuay, aged 100 years, was charged by Rat Brady, of the same place, with using abusive and threatening language. The complainant declared that Connolly jumped over a lence and threatened him with a blackthorn stick. Connolly admitted that he had sonic words with Brady, and would have •‘put him under him" if he were a younger mail. Justice Flattery dismissed the can-, stating lie believed a man of Connolly’s age was not likely to do anyone any grievous harm. Connolly, who gave evidence in a strong, clear voice, appeared as supple as a man of 50. He walked -to and from the court, a distance ol nine miles and is said to consider such a journey a good exercise.”
