WEST LA ND SUB- U NIL) N. The annual meeting of delegates was held on Monday evening at Mclntosh's club-rooms. The following delegates were present : Kiwi Club—Messrs I). It. Dowell and U. Lynch. Excelsior Club—Messrs J. .1. Breeze and H. M. Coulson. Kokatahi Club—Xlossrs I. Bannister and AY, A. Levctt. Ilari Hari Club—Messrs •!■ Bain and S. Moore. Referees Association—Mr A. Cuthush. Arahura Club—Mcl-rs J. Ht a ll'ord and L. Muir.

Air F. McGregor who presided, spoke on the work of the past season, and expressed his apprecialion of having been President during the past two years. Air AlcGregor then vacated 111 chair. Afr K McGregor was then unanimously re-elected President lor the year. Air .1 iStalford was elected Yice-Prc-sidenls. Air J. .J. Breeze was elected Treasurer. Mr E. AY. Heeiinn was re-elected Secretary. The Runtapu Club applied for affiliation as a junior club.—Received and agreed to and the delegate, Air .Tones took his seat. Selection Committee.—Afessrs I). R. Dowell, J. Stafford and E. AY. Keenan. .Mr Stafford moved that the SubUniou make application for a separate head union for AYcstlaud -with headquarters at Hokitika. Seconded by Air Cutbush and carried. Executive—A discussion took place as to the formation, and it was resolved that the delegates from Clubs form the Union. It was resolved that. Air G. E. Time-keeper—Mr A. W. Yarrall. Judicial Committee—Messrs A. E. Benjamin, L. Michel and President. Mr Cutbnsh moved that nominations be called for senior, junior and third grade competitions, to close at 8 p.m. on Monday, March 31st. and the season to open early.—Seconded by Mr Moore and carried. It was resolved to meet on Monday nights. The Kiwi Club wrote asking for a percentage of gate moneys received when playing.—Received • no action taken. Mr Dowell stressed the importance of doing something towards improving the playing ground on Cass Square, and moved that the Borough Council be asked to improve the playing area before the season started.—Seconded by Mr Cutbnsh and carried. The meeting then terminated. W.C. RUGBY UNION. GIIEY-MOUTH, March 26 The annual general meeting of the West Coast Rugby Union was held last evening. Captain Cox occupied the chair.

Mr T. O’Donnell moved and Mr Mathicson seconded and it was carried that Kumara. be accepted in the Grey Competitions, the application to be put through the Westland Sub-Union. It was resolved that the Executive Committee consist of the President, Secretary, Treasurer, three Vice-Presi-dents, one Delegate from each senior

Club. On the motion of Mr Keating it was decided that the rilles of the W.R.C.U. be printed, vjith the provision that the incoming Executive revise them first. The following Vice-Presidents were appointed: Afessrs T. O’Donnell, Guy Armstrong. The other officers appointed were: Treasurer, Mr Keating: Seertary, N. AV. Jones; Trustees, Mr Keating and G. E. Perkins; Auditor, C. Matliieson, Custodian, J. AVilliams. Air Perkins was appointed A’ieePresident to the New Zealand Union. Air T. AlcTntosh was elected as selector for the inter-provincial matches of the group. Air T. O’Callaghan was appointed resident delegate to the New Zealand Union.

The application of Air Stephens to travel with the official All Black team to England was received. It was decided to recommend the application to the consideration of the New Zealand Union.

It was decided to write the Buller Union stating that there was no objection in supporting their application to have the rival match Golden Bay, Marlborough and Nelson v. Coast and Buller played at u cstport. 11 was considered that Buller v. West Coast match prior to that match should he played at Greymoutli. It was decided to write tho W estland Sub-Union asking them to arrange an early date to play Greymoutli at Greymouth in order to select a team to play the local match versus Buller, the suggested date of the Buller match being May 17.

The meeting night was set down for every Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. It was resolved that an endeavour be made to open the season on April Iz and that nominations of teams be sent in by April Ist. It was decided to place on record the valuable services rendered by Afr J. F. AVilson, the late President. The resolution was carried with acclamation.
