AUBTKALI AN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION THE QUEENSTOWN OUTRAGE. LONDON, March 25. At the inquest on the British soldier at Queenstown, the verdict • was that of wilful murder against unknown persons. The Dublin corporation adopted a resolution condemning the outrage. AN IRISH CLASH. (Received this day at 12.45 p.m.) LONDON, March 2b. A sensation was caused in County - Leitrim by the nows of the engagement. The Nationals surrounded the Irregulars in a farmhouse and shots were exchanged. The Lieut, commanding the Nationals was shot dead. One irregular was arrested. .Military are active in County Leitrim. IMPORTANT MINISTERIAL RESIGNATION. (Received this day at 11.45 a.m.) LONDON, March 2b The “Daily News’s” Dublin correspondent says the Ministerial resignations arc expected to include one of the highest importance, necessitating an appeal to the country. It is stated that a long standing trouble, culminating in the mutiny and coupled with McGrath’s resignation, has disturbed public comliicnce and an immediate ■ ' sponging of the slate offers the only acceptable solution.
