An accident happened on the Buller Hoad at the place known ns Yorkley’s Creek, near Cronadun on Monday, to Messrs E. A. O’Brien and AY. J. Simmers. They were proceeding on a motor bicycle and side car, Mr O'Brien riding the bicycle, when the forks ol the machine collapsed. Both were precipitated oil the machine. A serious accident happened to a 11 year-old girl named Perry at Inangahua Landing on Monday. Air Henry AYise, who for -10 years has resided at Christchurch, died at his residence (here yesterday. Deceased, who had been ailing for some time, was 73 years of age. At St. Paul’s Methodist Church, Greymouth, yesterday morning, the marriage took place of Aliss Alary Ann Aloore, daughter of Air and Airs Robert Aloore, of Cobden, to the Rev John Common, Atethodist Alinister at Te Puke, North island. The bride was attended as bridesmaid by Aliss Rubina Aloore, and the duties of best man were carried out by Air Thomas Common, of Enfield, Otago. Rev B. J. James officiated.
