EARL AND THE GIRL
NOVEL WEEDING FEATURES. Several novel features marked the wedding at St. Paul’s, Knightsbridgc, London, of the young Earl of Kinnoull and Miss Enid Ilaniilton-Fellows. Gold baskets filled with chrysanthemums decorated the church, and six bridesmaids carried gold wands, to which bunches of chrysanthemums were attached.
Instead of the usual bridal procession the bridesmaids stood at itnervals clown the aisle facing each other, while two little pages, clad in orangecoloured suits, bore the bride’s train.
Perhaps the prettiest sight of all, however, was the crowd of charminglydressed children from the St. Mai-* caret’s Day Nursery, in which the bride’s mother is interested. Special music for the service had been composed by Sir Gilbert V\ ills, and the words of the final hymn wore written by the bride’s mother.
