The high standard of the picture programmes presented on Monday nights for some time past will he fully maintained on Monday next, when Rupert Hughes’ sparkling comedy drama of marriage and after will be presented. Post-honeymoon disillusionment, and the true significance of married life are the two big points that are brought out in "Dangerous Curves Ahead,” starring Helene Chadwick and Richard Dix. The story tells of a young woman, who married n man who makes good, is tempted to stray from the paths of wifely duty through the influence of society, dinners and jazz parties. It is at a gathering of society people that she is brought to realise the real significance of her responsibility—the responsibility of motherhood and the care her sick child demands. Though primarily an entertainment the story preaches * moral to modern day problems of living that cannot be denied in its significance. There is an element of comedy in the story but its idea is serious in import.
