ECONO AI3C CONFERENCE RESOLUTIONS. [Reuters Telegrams.] LONDON, Alarch 19. Asked in the Commons whether he intended to present the resolutions passed by the Imperial Economic Conference, before the Budget, or incorporate them in the Budget, so that they could ho discussed, Air AlacDouald replied that it would le improper to introduce resolutions dealing with the Budget before the Budget and it would he useless to introduce them after the Budget, therefore the Government were carefully considering every single resolution. As soon as he had decided in regard to all the resolutions he would communicate with the leaders of the other parties to see if they agreed. Every resolution would have an opportunity of being submitted to the House in some lorni.
ABBEY BYE-ELECTION. LONDON,’Alarch 19 The polling at the Abbey by election where the votes will be counted on Thursday, excelled any live-election in mid London in living memory. The Strand, Regent Street, and Parliament Street were crowded with motor cars decked with the ribbons of the four parties, which made an immense effort to poll every available vote. Mr Churchill alone bad 265 ears. One of bis supporters came from Cannes, and another from Italy. Air Baldwin, Air Henderson and his two sons, Air Snowden and Aliss ALargnret Bondficld were among the voters. Air Churchill twice toured the constituency at the head of a motor procession, every car sounding its siren continually. His partisans with megaphones wero crying: “Winston will win.” Air Nicholson’s supporters anticipate a two thousand majority.
Labour says it might slip in owing to the Conservative split, but it will bo satisfied if it can keep Air Churchill out.

HON J. R. C’LYNE’S SALARY INCREASED. LONDON, Alarch 19. A vote was carried increasing Air J. R. dynes’ (Lord Privy Seal and Deputy Lender of the House) salary from £2090 to £5900. There was a protest by the Clydesfiler, Air Buchanan, that the proposal was a hollow mockery when men were trying to live on sixteen shillings weekly.
