TOTARA FLAT SALEYAR DH. At tbe To tarn Elat. Saleyards on Monday, Dalgolv and Co. Ltd. held a special stock sale. Tbe entry of cattle ■was one of the largest entered 1,11 some years past, comprising 027 bead. Havers were present from all parts of the district, and as vendors met market conditions, a complete clearance under the hammer was effected. Iho cattle yarded were in fair condition and a line of 55 Hereford steers four and live-year olds were a feature of the yarding. Prices realised were as loliows: 55 four and five-year old steers £0 7s Od : 45 3-year old steers £3 10*: JO 18-month steers £2 2s; II Holstein heifers £3 2s 0d to £4 ss; 13 Holstein heifers £1 45s to £2; 12-spring calvers £3 2s Gd: 15 heifers £1 15s; 45 spring calves £2 5s to £3 10s : 14 Jersey cross heifers £2 10s to £5 ss; 21 heifers 32s 13 heifers 38s.
