ARAHURA FAT STOCK SALE.
At the Aiahuru Yards yesterday the fat stock entry comprised .120 fat lnnibs n-.id sheep ami JO head ut eat tic which were submitted to a full attendance of buyers. Competition showed a distinct hardening tendency with the result that all the i»>ns were cleared at prices easily the. host, for the present year. Fat lambs made to 28s 9d, equal to lOd per lb. Prime ox beef made up to 3Gs per hundred and heifer hoof to 27s Od. The improved price on cattle was easy £1 to 25s per head on previous sales. Dicdrieh 3 hlks. at CIO 13s, 3 hlks. at £lO, 2 at £9 10s, 1 str. at £7 12s Gd. 1 heife.r at £7. 2 at £o 17s Gd, 5 at £5 ss, 4 at £6 is Gd, 1 at £4. 1 at £3 15s, 2 at £3 7s Gd, 1 sprinnt. -fifi 12s Gd.
