THE WILL AND THE WAY. No 12.—Reviewing tlie Administration of estates. Whatever may )>e the nature of tho estate that comes under the Public Trustee, every possible care is taken to conserve the interests of tho persons concerned. A system of inspection has been established to ensure what is practically a continuous audit of the administration of each estate. Matters to which special attention is devoted are:— (1) That vigorous measures are taken to get in or obtain control of every asset and, when an asset is not to be realised, that it is made in-come-producing at the earliest possible date. (2) That special consideration is given to the administration of business undertakings and assets of a wasting or hazardous nature. (3) That the convenants and conditions attached to leases and mortgages are properly observed. (4) That the beneficiaries are consulted and kept closely in touch with the administration »f the estate in which they are interested. For full information apply to the Public Trustee. Wellington, or to MR T. R. SAYWELL. District Public Trustee, Greymouth, or Mr Wm. Wilson (Wm. Duncan and £<?•). Tnnered St., Hokitika.
