The New Zealand Meat Producers Board has received advice from London that tho heading of the e.i.f. contract forme for mutton and land) has now been altered from "Australasian” to "Australian and New Zealand.” This is a matter which Mr J. S. Jessep, Vice-Chairman of tho New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board, took up when he was in London. The Beard is also endeavouring to get tlis leading English newspapers, when referring to Smithficld supplies of mutton and lamb, to quote same as “New Zealand” and “Australian” respectively, instead of “Australasian.” Considering that the supply of mutton and lamb shipped from our Dominion is considerably in excess of the Australian exports, it is only right that- the word “New Zealand” should be used when referring to our exports of frozen meat.
