C. laiie Adams comes in for a share ol piae-c for her work in the photoplay. Others in the east are Charles Le Moyne, Lon Puff and A 1 Fremont. Summing tip the production, it has an engrossing story of the outdoors, an exceptional cast, excitement and romance m proper proportion and more than enough entertainment quality to make an enjoyable evening. A good supporting series will also be shown including a special two-reel comedy featuring the popular Lee kids. On Thursday a First National special will be shown. Anita Stewart more charming than ever will be seen m the story ol Hot Mad Bargain.” It is based nil the experience of a girl who, after attempting suicide, signs a pledge that she will live at least for one year. Love enters her heart, and by the lime the end of the probationnl period is reached she stands on the threshold of marital happiness, convinced that life is well worth Hie struggling after all. Unique in theme, the picture has many little ironical twists that lay have the shame of s ic-icty and arouse sympathy for the girl who is thrust out into the world to battle alone against vicious elements.
