ARAHURA STOCK YARDS. Messrs M. Houston and Co., report : - The usual fortnightly sale was held it the above yards yesterday, there beng a good attendance of buyers. Our •arding comprised 37 head of fat cattleimi 00 fat sheep. Owing to a short raiding of cattle, prices were slightly better than those of tho previous sale. Hood ox beef and best heifer beef realised from 27s Od to 30s per hundred, medium 22s 0d to 2.s Od. lat sheep srid well at late rate?. We sold oil account of T. Staines, 00 fat ewes (Canterbury) at 31s: on account of R. Adamson and Co.. 2 bullocks at £9, 1 heifer at £B. one at £7 17s 6d. three at £0 12s Od; on account of 11. Adamson, two heifers at £7 15s, two at- £7 12s Od. two at £< 1-H Od two at £7. two at £7 lOs.: oil account of E. AY. Mills, two bullocks at £S, 2at £7 ss, 2at £7 10s. lat £5 ss. 1 lieifer and 1 cow at £6 12s 6d, 2 bullocks at £7 15s. 1 heifer and 1 cow at £6.; On account of T. Staines , heifer at £5 17s 6d, 1 aged cow at £■) pos ; three steers at £5 7s 6d, two heifers ’at £3 os; On account of n client, 7 weaner I>ij2J3 at 21s.
