A RED MANIFESTO
LONDON, Feb. 27. The "Time’s" Riga correspondent ,jvs that on the occasion ol the Bed Armv’.s .sixth anniversary, the Third Internationale issued a fiery proclamation, as follows: "Our task is unfinished. Strife i> not over. Ihe Soviet Republic is encircled by a ring of capitalists ready to pounce on and smother tl u . nursery ol international revolution. Re on the alert and ready to defend the Soviet Government at any minute. Workmen and peasants ot , this or that country may rise in arms j and may precipitate a decisive world struggle between capital and labour. The International Trades l nion issued a similar proclamation, conclui - ing:-—"The long line oi international revolution and her red army. Roth proclamations were printed I> !0 ' minonlly of the ‘Tnvestia " which is the official Government organ, yet the Government persistently denies any connection between these two revolutionary organisations from the Trades Hall at Moscow where the anniversary was celebrated. A message was sent to Trotsky, worded:—“We want you back again to prepare for future battles and future victories." Trotsky is at present ill.
