THE GREEK CRISIS.
LONDON, Feb. 26. The “Daily Express’s” Athens correspondent says:—"The Fafandaris Government has fallen. This is the consequence of its refusal to accede to the extremeists’ demands for the establishment of a republic before the popular plebiscite is taken. TROTTING GROUND SOLD. WANGANUI, Feb. 26. At to-night’s meeting of the Borough Council, the Wanganui Trotting Club offered to sell its course to the Borough for use as a recreation ground. The price for the property, which is approximately 40 acres, is fifteen tliouand sterling.
