The latter was unable to fill the bill, owing to illness. The Xew Zealander showed nil well against the heavier battery of tlie Australian welterweight whom he staggered several times, through five rounds. At the end of the five rounds Murray informed the referee that he was nnah'.e to continue. MURRAY'S EARLY SHOWING GOOD. SYDXLY, Feh. 24.
